The unregulated sector

Consumers are using unregulated providers of legal services because they are cheaper, more transparent on cost, and higher levels of innovation, according to research by the Legal Services Board (LSB). The research showed the unregulated sector is smaller than originally thought, about 5% of providers. Family represented a significant source of income for the sector. More than 10% of individuals getting a divorce used the unregulated sector.
