Lawyers focused on health and education this week as part of Pro Bono Week 2017. Free legal advice clinics popped up in GP surgeries, while discussions, talks, and educational events took place around the country for the 16th annual pro bono week. President of the Law Society Joe Egan said: ‘In 2017 the public service ethos of so many of our profession has been particularly evident as they have stepped in to volunteer their services to victims of terror attacks and the devastating fire in Grenfell Tower.’
