Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP (BLG), Manchester, has snapped up a number of former Halliwells partners.

The new team will focus on catastrophic injury, fraud, regulatory and public sector work. Insurance division chairman Kevin Finnigan said BLG recognised that the new recruits, all experts in the insurance market, were a natural fit for the firm.
