Lucy Scott-Moncrieff has been appointed as the president of the Law Society

Lucy is the managing partner of Scott-Moncrieff and Associates LLP, a virtual law firm that undertakes legal aid work on behalf of vulnerable children and adults.

Lucy will focus on promoting the profession at home and abroad, helping solicitors deal with the difficulties caused by the current economic and political situation, and supporting all the initiatives and innovations the profession is coming up with. Lucy says: “I hope to achieve greater public understanding of the important role that solicitors play in our society, whether in the City or the High Street.”
