New Master of the Rolls

Lord Dyson, a Supreme Court justice, will leave Parliament Square to take up his new position of Master of the Rolls on 1 October. The current Master of the Rolls, Lord Neuberger, will move to become the new president of the Supreme Court.

Lord Dyson was called to the Bar in 1968, took silk in 1982, and was first appointed as a judge at the High Court in 1993. He joined the Supreme Court in 2010.
