In brief
The Legal Aid Practitioners Group (LAPG) hopes to raise more cash and garner a more powerful voice with the launch of Friends of LAPG. The group wants practitioners who have given up legal aid work, or those who have never done it but who support LAPG aims, to become Friends. It hopes the Friends will support it in its campaigning, lobbying and research activities.
