More than 90% of UK lawyers call a halt to cases at least once a fortnight due to the client being unable to fund their legal costs. And more than 30% of consumers who believe they need legal support are not seeking it out because they fear it will cost too much, according to a survey by Legal Cost Finance, which provides payment plans for legal fees. Legal Cost Finance works with law firms to provide moderate discounts of about 5% on legal fees to cover the underlying credit fees for the initial 12 months.
