Qualified barristers and solicitors in the early stages of their careers can now apply for the 2022/23 Judicial Assistants scheme, which provides an invaluable ringside view of the trial process from the perspective of the judge
Successful applicants will assist the High Court judge to which they are assigned, by researching, summarising documents and providing general support. At least 13 paid places are available, for two or four legal terms.
The closing date for applications, which should be emailed to HighCourtJAScheme@judiciary.uk, is 5pm on Monday 16 May 2022.
