Baroness Hale, President of the Supreme Court, and retired Justice Jonathan Sumption have been selected for Prospect Magazine’s list of ‘the world’s top 50 thinkers 2019’. 
Baroness Hale is described: ‘As a judge, she rigorously dispatches the law— sometimes “we must harden our hearts”—but nudges things in a progressive direction when she has the opportunity, on the definition of domestic violence for example.’
