Specialist financial remedies courts are to be piloted in London, the West Midlands and South-East Wales from February 2018, Sir James Munby, President of the Family Division has confirmed. Further pilots are envisaged to follow shortly after. The courts will be based on both the family court and regionalised Court of Protection models, with a number of regional hubs and a lead judge for each hub. Mr Justice Mostyn will be the national lead judge, with Judge Hess acting as his deputy.
