Dawn raids, whether by HMRC or the police, are an increasingly popular tactic—so much so that a law firm has published a free guide for businesses on what to do if it happens to them.

The Dawn Raid Manual, by Mackrell Turner Garrett, explains how businesses can prepare for a dawn raid and what procedures to follow if it happens. Nigel Rowley, managing partner, said: “Having effective plans in place can significantly limit the disruption and damage caused to a business by a raid.”

The manual is available to download free of charge.
