​Claims farmer banned

A claims farmer has had its licence revoked by the Claims Management Regulator for pressuring people into making holiday sickness claims. Lancashire based Allsure Ltd was found to have encouraged holidaymakers to fabricate or embellish symptoms of gastric illness to get compensation, and to have coached consumers in providing the answers needed to meet the criteria for a claim.

Evidence showed the firm used deceptive sales scripts that exaggerated potential payouts.
