A revamped version of the annual charity event, Walk the Thames, has been unveiled. It is now a one-day event. Walkers can walk the length of a marathon or a half marathon. Runners, joggers, cyclists and dogs are welcome, as are both teams and individuals. There is no minimum amount of money to raise. All funds go to help legal advice charities, which make a huge difference to the lives of those they help. The event, on Saturday 1 November, is organised by the London Legal Support Trust.
