A supplementary report on the modernisation of courts and tribunals has been published by the Senior President of Tribunals, Sir Ernest Ryder. He published his main report on the subject in May 2018. The modernisation programme moved last year from the design and planning stage to piloting and implementation. Since his last report, more than 750 judges have attended courts and tribunals events about the programme, while survey responses have been received from more than 10,000 colleagues. Sir Ernest thanked all who have contributed to a process that was ‘sometimes uncomfortable but always honest and revealing’.
