TLT recruits asset finance specialist

National law firm TLT has recruited banking partner Euan Cluness. Joining from Addleshaw Goddard, Euan brings over a decade of experience advising banks and borrowers on complex and high-profile debt finance transactions.

Boasting in-depth experience in corporate lending, acquisition finance and debt restructuring, Euan has advised NatWest, RBS, HSBC, Barclays, Virgin Money, non-bank lenders and corporate borrowers. He also experience in asset-finance lending.

From TLT’s Edinburgh office, Euan will work with the firm’s banking and restructuring team, providing commercially strategic legal guidance to all its banking clients, as well as a wide variety of businesses in the corporate marketplace. 

Euan said: ‘Having acted for lenders and borrowers in the Scottish corporate and leveraged finance market for almost 20 years, I was very impressed by TLT’s client roster, approach and ambition. I’m joining a strong team in Scotland and across the UK at a very exciting time for the firm as they look to build upon an already substantial growth period.
