Three-quarters of legal employees have experienced poor management or a poor manager, and of these unfortunate employees, 78% have considered leaving and 54% actually quit their job, new research by HR and payroll solutions provider MHR has found. A number of legal sector employees reported that they have experienced bullying, micro-management, aggressive and threatening behaviour from their managers during recent employment. Several respondents cited a complete disregard or lack of awareness of mental health issues in the workplace, with some claiming their manager was directly responsible for causing their mental health decline.
