Human rights lawyer is honoured in NYC

Sir Geoffrey Bindman QC, the noted civil liberties and human rights lawyer, has been honoured by the Charles Horman Truth Foundation for his efforts to bring Chilean dictator General Pinochet to justice. He received an award at the Foundation’s Tribute to Justice event in New York in recognition of his work to detain Pinochet in the UK for 18 months, following his arrest in London in 1998.
