New app to facilitate separations
The government has launched a web app offering free advice to separating couples. The app, called “Sorting Out Separation”, offers personalised tips such as how to access legal advice, sort out maintenance, and resolve family disputes without costly court proceedings. David Emmerson, head of dispute resolution at TV Edwards, where the app was launched, says the app “promotes mediation and collaborative law as the way forward”.
