The Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) is seeking views on the right to privacy in a digital society. It notes that social media platforms and private companies collect, can analyse and store personal data on a massive scale. It is seeking written submissions on the threats posed to human rights and whether individuals have sufficient awareness and choice to be able to fully consent.
