London law firm, Payne Hicks Beach, is pleased to announce four promotions—two Partner and two Associate—across the firm’s Dispute Resolution, Family and Risk and Compliance Departments.
Scott Goldstein and Jonathan Sewell have been made up to Partner within the Dispute Resolution and Risk and Compliance Departments respectively. Furthermore, Nick Grant and Katie Parkes have been promoted to Associate level. These appointments became effective on 1 December 2019.
Scott Goldstein, a property litigation specialist, has over 17 years’ experience in the high net worth residential and commercial property arena, with a particular interest in landlord and tenant work.
Jonathan Sewell has also been welcomed to the partnership, having been appointed as Director of Risk and Compliance in May 2017. Jonathan Sewell has significant experience in providing robust oversight on regulatory duties, in addition to, enforcing operational and risk management procedures.
The firm’s Dispute Resolution Department will be further reinforced with the promotion of Nick Grant to Associate within the Privacy and Media Team. Having joined Payne Hicks Beach in 2017, Nick has developed his specialisms in defamation and media law, where his expertise is particularly sought after on matters relating to the publication of defamatory allegations across all forms of media.
Additionally, within the firm’s renowned Family Department, Katie Parkes has been made an Associate. Katie’s expertise spans all areas of private family law, including financial remedies, pre and post-nuptial agreements, in addition to, child arrangements.
