The inaugural National Paralegal Day is to be held on 14 March, when the House of Commons will host an event from 6pm. The day will celebrate the wide variety of work paralegals do and is the initiative of the National Association of Licensed Paralegals. Often the unsung and unrecognised members of the legal profession, each year paralegals help thousands of people who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford legal representation, provide invaluable support to solicitors, and work hard within organisations as diverse as local authorities and FTSE100 companies.
