Kennedys makes costs specialist appointment

Kennedys has appointed leading costs specialist Martin Cox as a partner to head up its national costs team.

Based in the expanding Sheffield office, Martin joins after almost 25 years in the legal industry. He started his career handling claimant personal injury (PI) matters at Irwin Mitchell, before a move to DLA Piper saw him undertake defendant PI work and latterly develop the firm’s costs capabilities. Most recently Martin has been managing director of costs firm, Costs Solutions Limited.

Nick Thomas, Kennedys’ senior partner, says: “We’re absolutely committed to responding to our clients’ needs by making strong lateral hires. Under Martin’s leadership I am sure our costs capabilities will drive even greater value for our clients.”
