The Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee has published a report entitled ‘Losing Control?: The Implications for Parliament of the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill’. 

Lexis®Library update: This is the 28th report from the committee for the 2022-23 session, which considers the background to the Bill, the challenge of the Sunset Provisions, downgrading the status of direct principal retained EU law, whether delegating powers to ministers constitutes a ‘blank cheque’ and the importance of supporting information and post-implementation reviews.
