LNB news: Coronavirus (COVID-19)—HMICFRS publishes report on impact on pandemic on CJS

Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS), HM Inspectorate of Probation, HM Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate and HM Inspectorate of Prisons have published a review on the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on the criminal justice system (CJS) and the respective bodies’ responses

Lexis®Library update: The report sets out the detriment to the Youth Offending Team caseload and significant case backlogs in the Crown Court. The report also recommends some solutions to these negative effects, such as establishing recovery plans and collaboration between the different bodies.
