As the profession faces fresh challenges in the coming year, clinical negligence and coronial law specialist Linda Lee promises to fight the corner of solicitors in her new role as Law Society president.

As council member for Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland since 2003, the former in-house consultant for the Action against Medical Accidents charity is involved in the activities of local law societies.

Linda says: “We have faced an onslaught of legislation and social change, the best of which has undoubtedly been the increasing opportunities and a celebration of diversity in society which has been reflected in our profession.”
