Legislation round-up

Brings into force on 1 October 2009 the Constitutional Reform Act 2005, ss 23–44, 47–60, 137, 138, Schs 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, Sch 17, paras 9–35, Sch 18, paras 5, 6.

Sections 145 and 146 are brought into effect in so far as they relate to Schs 17 and 18’s activated provisions.

Provides, with previously commenced sections, for the whole of Pt 3 to come into effect, which makes provision for the Supreme Court. In addition, the provisions relating to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council are brought into effect
