The legal apprentices

Apprenticeships in the business, administration and law sector are on the rise, with vacancies increasing by a quarter year on year, according to the National Apprenticeship Service. 15,550 apprenticeships were advertised between August and October 2013 compared to 12,510 in the same period in 2012. The number of women applying rose by 50% over the year. Matthew Hancock MP, minister for skills and enterprise, says: “I would urge more employers to consider apprenticeships.”
