Lawyers in Colombia are risking their lives to do their job. Law Society president Andrew Caplen expressed alarm this week at a report by a group of international lawyers and judges which details attacks and stigmatisation faced by Colombian lawyers, and includes first hand testimonies from human rights lawyers, government officials and victims of the country’s civil war.
