LawCare, the charity that helps lawyers and their families with addiction, stress and mental health difficulties, has been working closely with the Solicitors Benevolent Association (SBA), the 150 year-old solicitors’ charity which helps solicitors and their dependants who face financial hardship. SBA provides grants and loans, career transition support and insolvency advice and also makes financial contributions to LawCare. The two charities often refer callers to each other and have recently shared ideas, platforms and even advertised jointly. LawCare and SBA share a similar goal—helping lawyers in need.
