R v Jones [2007] EWCA Crim 1118, [2007] All ER (D) 235 (May)

The offence of intentionally causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity contrary to s 8 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 may be committed by a person even though it is not possible to identify any specific or identifiable child to whom the incitement was addressed.
