AF Noonan (Architectural Practice) Ltd v Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic Community Football Club Ltd [2007] All ER (D) 10 (Jul)

Under s 12 of the Administration of Justice Act 1960, publication of information relating to proceedings before any court sitting in private is not in itself a contempt of court, unless it falls within one of the specified categories in sub-ss 12(1)(a) to (d), or the court expressly prohibited publication for the purposes of sub-s 12(1)(e).

An order under CPR 39.2 does not constitute an order expressly prohibiting publication of information relating to proceedings for the purposes of sub-s 12(1)(e).
