The Director of Public Prosecutions, Keir Starmer QC, is to receive an Honorary Doctorate of Laws from Leeds University

The Leeds’ alumnus was joint head of Doughty Street Chambers before taking up the role of DPP in November 2008. The ceremony will take place on 12 July at the university.
