Silk is appointed as circuit judge of EAT

Jennifer Jane Eady QC has been appointed as a circuit judge. She has been assigned to the Employment Appeals Tribunal, based at Fleetbank House, Central London, with effect from Monday 2 December 2013, and will be known as Her Honour Judge Eady QC.

The new circuit judge was called to the Bar in 1989 and took Silk in 2006. She served as a fee-paid chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) between 2001 and 2008, and she was appointed as a recorder in 2004.
