City law firm Speechly Bircham has added to its private wealth capability with the appointment of James Trafford as a partner

James is recognised by Chambers UK 2012 as a “widely respected expert in offshore and international tax and trusts planning” and led the private client team at Wilsons in Salisbury. James started his career at City firm Travers Smith in 1984 before joining Wilsons in 1991. He acts for a number of individuals and families in The Sunday Times Rich List together with private banks, offshore trust companies and individuals with complicated multi-jurisdictional issues.
