Experienced addition to Scottish firm

Ian Truscott QC has joined Scottish legal firm Simpson & Marwick as a partner. He will work across the firm’s offices in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as London. Ian was called to the Bar in Scotland in 1988 and took silk in 1997. He has chaired the employment law group of the Law Society of Scotland since 1980 and is also a member of the Bar of England and Wales and has served as a part-time employment judge. His extensive case work has included the Piper Alpha Inquiry and Ocean Odyssey Inquiry.
