“Frenetic” conveyancing to beat stamp duty rise

Conveyancers raced to beat the 1 April three per cent stamp duty tax increase on buy-to-lets and second homes, completing a record number of property transactions on the previous day. Conveyancing services provider My Home Move said it completed a record 1,210 transactions, 40% more than its previous record set last December.
