The annual increase in compensation limits for employment cases has been announced. Under the Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2015 (SI 2015/226), the maximum compensation for a week’s pay rises to £475 from £464, and the maximum compensatory award rises to £78,335 from £76,574. The changes apply where the dismissal or other complaint takes place on or after 6 April 2015.
