Firm promotes associate solicitor to partner in corporate & commercial team
Moore Blatch has announced that it has promoted associate solicitor David Bright from the corporate and commercial team in the Southampton office to partner.
David joined Moore Blatch in December 2009 and was promoted to associate solicitor in May 2014. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, business affairs, joint ventures, company restructuring and partnership matters. Prior to this he worked for Horsey Lightly, which he joined in 2004 as a trainee solicitor.
“I am personally really pleased to secure a promotion within Moore Blatch," says David. "The firm has an ambitious strategy for growth and is forward looking, and I feel that these assets reflect my own personal aims. There is a nice collegiate, family and team ethos to Moore Blatch and the firm inspires a lot of loyalty amongst its staff, so I am delighted to be part of this going forward.”
In David’s spare time he volunteers with the Oasis Charitable Trust and Oasis Charitable Partnership, where he sits on the board. The group is a worldwide organisation spanning 11 countries, including India, Bangladesh and South Africa, and runs 47 academies across the UK. They look to work with local communities initiating innovative projects and campaigns, such as the creation of new health centres and libraries.
