The Medical Innovation Bill is introduced

A Bill that would prevent doctors from being held liable for clinical negligence claims if they attempt innovative treatment of cancer patients has been introduced. The Medical Innovation Bill, introduced in the House of Lords by Lord Saatchi, aims to widen the definition of “standard treatment” to encourage innovation.
