National law firm Clarke Willmott has appointed Megan Bradbury as a paralegal in its Southampton office. Bradbury, a graduate of the University of Exeter, has joined the firm’s corporate team, which is headed by partner Kelvin Balmont.
Her appointment continues the firm’s focus on developing early-career legal talent in Southampton. She follows the recent recruitment of Bethany Stone and Georgia Watson, who both joined the firm after taking part in its summer vacation schemes.
Stone, a graduate of the University of Southampton, joined the commercial and private client litigation team, while Watson, also an Exeter graduate, joined the corporate team. The firm’s summer vacation scheme offers a week-long paid placement, allowing aspiring lawyers to work with specialist teams and attend workshops focused on career development.
Richard Swain, office head at Clarke Willmott in Southampton (pictured, left), said: ‘Megan is another example of our ongoing investment in the next generation of lawyers, and like Bethany and Georgia, I'm sure she’ll be a great addition to the team.’
