Pro bono charity LawWorks has boosted its work volume by more than half through an initiative with LexisNexis

Pro bono charity LawWorks has been using LexisNexis case management software Visualfiles for nearly a year to connect volunteer lawyers with people and charities in need of legal advice. Visualfiles acts as a central repository of all cases and matters, automating processes to reduce administration tasks. The result is a 55% year-on-year direct increase in number of applications dealt with by the charity.

Andy Sparkes, general manager at LexisNexis Enterprise Solutions, said: ‘LexisNexis is passionate about supporting the Rule of Law around the globe. LawWorks is a fantastic organisation that is delivering a truly meaningful service to facilitate greater access to justice—we’re delighted to support them as part of our pro bono efforts, and together we can make a real difference to those in society with the greatest need for legal advice and representation.’
