Merger of two Essex firms

Birkett Long has announced further expansion following a decision to merge with Billericay solicitors E Edwards Son & Noice (ESN). The merger will allow ESN to offer an even wider range of services to their clients. Jane Orchard, proprietor of ESN, and other members of staff will join Birkett Long’s Basildon office.

The merger is Birkett Long’s fifth such deal in four years, having also joined forces with Jackson & Partners and Passmores in Colchester, Weight, Wolny and Trusler in Chelmsford and Brian Ruff, Angus and Jewers since 2009.
