Commercial team in London welcomes technology specialist as partner
International law firm Bird & Bird has appointed tech transactions specialist Sue McLean as a partner in its London commercial team, bolstering its international technology offering. McLean brings more than 25 years’ experience advising on high-value, business-critical technology deals, with a focus on cloud, outsourcing and digital transformation, as well as strategic development and licensing arrangements.
Her practice spans emerging technologies including AI, blockchain and crypto-assets, with particular expertise in responsible AI governance programmes and AI-driven transactions. She also advises on the technology aspects of M&A, supporting clients on acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures across sectors such as tech, financial services, consumer goods and life sciences.
